I love my job, article writing is a good way to earn extra income, but it is also a good way to earn your freedom too. This is my job, full-time, I am self employed and I work really hard for every cent I make, but earn it I do. Initially I used it as a way to create additional income streams, but that has changed.

Wouldn\’t you just guess right the *%@! did hit the fan when I had been article writing for about a year and a half part time and instead of going out and getting another job, I started doing this full time. I had enough money put aside to last a while, so I though what the heck, I don\’t want to work for a boss again, so this is what I did, and it is a good way to earn extra income, but not necessarily a great way to make a living, unless you have a bit more support behind you than I did.

If you can earn $125 a week by article writing, this is a good way to earn extra income. This is $500 a month and it can make the difference between being able to make that next mortgage or credit card payment or not. It can also be put away or used for creating additional streams of income.

I took a huge risk, and I was single minded about it, I don\’t advocate that anyone go about article writing the way I did, although in the beginning I had the right idea. I no longer wanted to look for a job with cell phone, where I was on call 24/7, no matter that it came with a car, health insurance, massive salary and loads of perks. What I didn\’t have was freedom.

Personal freedom is very valuable, and only when I lost my job did I see how valuable this was to me. I could write my own check but I had to work damn hard to do it and still took a huge loss in earnings.

After 18 months, a massive drop in earnings, and hard work, I am able to look at my efforts and be proud. I am also able to put some of my earnings into making additional streams of income by leveraging, and it works.

This may not be the best way to earn extra income, but I know that it works. I also know a lot of other article writers who will agree with me. It works for me, and if it can work for me, it can work for you too.

There are many reasons for wanted to have an extra income. Anyone you ask will have a different reason for wanting extra money. Some reasons will be for needs such as rent or a car payment. Get creative with your ideas. Offer up your services for a cost. Put out an ad that you are a dog walker. People work during the day and their animals are left home cooped up all day long. Cut lawns in the summer or shovel driveways in the winter time. Become a babysitter. Care child workers are always needed and the pay is usually pretty good.

If you are crafty, you can try to sell what you have made for a profit. Knitters and crafters can sell their items on their own or enter a craft fair to sell their items. If you have a gift for painting or drawing, you can sell you own original drawings or take custom orders from people.

Offer your services out to family, friends and your local community to make some extra money. Babysit for your neighbors or your friends can bring in some extra money. Become a dog walker for your neighbors. Offer to do errands for people for a fee. Clean homes for people.

Turn your hobbies and things you like to do into a way to make money. If you draw or paint you could try to sell your pictures. If you create jewelry, you could try to sell them. If you like to knit or crochet, you could try to sell things you have made. There is a large market for handmade items so trying to take advantage of that could pay off in a big way.
